When mom went into hospice care she spent a lot of time in the house, mostly knitting scarves (which many of you have) but she also worked on photo albums and recipe books for us kids. She only got one of the recipe books done and I have copied it below, I know that she would want to share her favorite recipes. She had such a generous spirit, she loved cooking for a crowd (even though it always stressed her out because she so badly wanted things to be perfect).
So please take her recipes, as a holiday gift, and don’t worry about making any of them perfectly ~ have fun, laugh, enjoy the people you love, be messy, be kind, be generous.
